New & Improved

Looking at what I have so far in my ever-growing portfolio, ive realized my growth. Its really exciting to see myself get better as i take & edit more photos. My editing has gotten more mature & i have been able to develop a personal style. I have grown more comfortable with photo shoots and have an easier time quickly thinking of what will look good in a photograph.

I love photography :)

Day 2

Day 2 of my summer project. To be honest, i instantly regretted the decision to do a photo a day. I feel like there isnt much to photograph where I am. Despite my boring setting, i managed to take an interesting photo. This is the graduation sign from my sister's party. It was left on the deck in the rain, and i thought it looked interesting. That was easy :) Hopefully I will this lucky tomorrow.. and the next 93 days.

Start of "95 Days of Summer"

So here is my first picture for my 'one-photo-a-day' project :) I decided to choose one of my favorite photos from my shoot today with Jess & Dan. They are so precious! Congratulations to them on their engagement!

P.s. It is not cheating to choose a photo from my shoot. Its convenient.

I Lost My Mommy

At my sister's graduation party today we found a precious baby duck out in our yard. It lost its mommy. It was the most sad thing ever. The poor thing was crying.. or whatever the duck equivalent of crying is.. and was shaking. I got a pair of gloves and put it in a box with some towels in case we found someone to come get it. We named him Charles. I asked my daddy if i could keep him.. he said no. We ended up letting it loose back where we found it. It was so sad.
So i said a little prayer for the baby ducky. With a little faith, he will find his mommy. God loves little birdies too :)
